How to add options to a Hire Product

Options allow you to configure your Hire Products in different ways, for instance


  • When hiring a Crane, you can add different booms to the truck
  • If you hire out a package (think security package consisting of video cameras, men, recording devices) but you want to hire it a one single package and track everything else



  1. Click on Stock
  2. Search and find the product you are looking for and click Edit
  3. Click on Options



You the Product * text box to search for the options you want available with this product and click on it. On the next screen that opens you will have the following



The Used for Picking Only option allows you to indicate that the item will be only visible internally when viewing the Hire Note. Your staff will be able to view the items and can run the Picking report in order to be able to pick the items for dispatch
