Throughout the day you may want to add or remove cash from the cash drawer. To add or remove cash, follow the steps below:



1. From an empty Sales Screen click Options and select Payins/Payouts

Two options are available when adding or removing cash.

Cash out:

This is the default option, sometimes you might need to take money out of the cash drawer for store expenses such as cleaning products or stationary.


  1. Use the onscreen number pad or the attached keyboard to enter the amount
  2. Enter a Note to track the reason
  3. Click Continue



Pay into the Cash Drawer:

Select this option if you need to put cash back into the cash drawer. This will be recorded as Cash in and won't increase your starting float
