You will need to open your till at the start of the day and close at the end of the day, so that you can get effective information on all your reports.
OPEN TILL
There is no special way to open a till in Turbo Inventory. Once you enter the Sell screen you can start selling straight away. If you have entered a Float left in the previous day then it will automatically becomes the starting float for the next day
CLOSE TILL
To close the register, you will need to be on the Sell screen, click OPTIONS -> Close the Day
You will need to be satisfied you have successfully completed the PAYMENT TALLY, as it cannot be amended afterwards.
Starting: This is the float left from the previous day
Float left: This is the float you are leaving in the Cash Drawer
Load Details: Reloads the details on the screen
Back to the sale: Brings you back to the sell screen
X Read: Prints an X Read
Finish the day: clicking this button will close your register, and end your shift. By closing the register, it's assumed that you have confirmed the PAYMENT TALLY is correct. Once done, this can not be undone.
- If you have taken more then one media it will be displayed in the first section.
- You can enter the declared figures for then there
- For Cash you can use the other two sections, it allows you to enter the quantites or values. This gives you the ability to simply count the physical coins and notes. Instead of have to add them up
Tips
Turbo Inventory doesn't force you to declare any figures. You can simply click Finish the day to close the Register and finish your shift
