A Customer want to put credit on their account

You may find your self in situations where your customers owes you €1,200 but they want to pay you €2,000 and put the extra €800 on their account for future work.


Sure you could pay the €1,200 and then may an adjustment to the account for the other €800, but in six months times you might forget why you did this and also the €800 doesn't automatically assign to the next Sales Invoice. Turbo Inventory allows you to over pay the Sales Invoice and put the remainder of the money onto the customers account for future work




Enabling the feature

  1. Click Settings & tools
  2. Click Other
  3. Click Advanced Configuration
  4. Click Customer
  5. Slide Allow customers to pay their Invoices using Credit to Yes
  6. Click Save






Overpaying the Sales Invoice

  • Click Customers
  • Click Receive Payment
  • Select the Customer
  • In the Sales Invoice you want to over pay enter the amount been paid by the customer
  • Click Complete


When viewing the Payment Receipt you will see the over payment on the line and the new balance gone into negative

When calling the customer up on the next sale you will see
