You are able to create automated reminders for your clients to remind them for upcoming vaccination, health check (for Veterinary), next service due (for Garages), when a machine if been collected or dropped off (for Plant Hire) or other appointment.


Please bear in mind our recommendations are “best practice” and not a hard & fast rule. They are simply what we have found works best for workshops like yours.



There is no need to turn this feature on, you only need to set up the reminders and then start assigning them to the products


How to create a Reminder

  1. Click Settings & tools
  2. Click Products
  3. Click Reminders
  4. To add a new Reminder click Add New
  5. Give the reminder a memorable name (as you will need to select this when adding it to the product)
  6. Enter the Email Template
  7. Enter the SMS Template
  8. Click Save


* Email and SMS Templates are option but if you set a SMS reminder on the product and there is no SMS template then nothing will be sent to the customer


Assigning a Reminder to a Product

  1. Click Stock
  2. Search for your product and click Edit
  3. Scroll down and you will see Reminders
  4. Enter the Reminder In and Period
  5. Select the Reminder Template
  6. Enter the Days Before
  7. Select if it will be an Email Reminder or a SMS Reminder
  8. Click Save


NOTE: In the Booking Reminder message we recommend that the Days before the booking be set as “14 days” and, that you always employ the word “re-schedule”, as a means of prompting re-engagement, as opposed to losing the booking completely. 



What Now?

When ever this product is Invoiced out to a customer, a reminder will be scheduled for X days in the future.
