Creating and Selling to a Cost Customer

Turbo Inventory gives you the ability to sell your products to your customers at the same cost that you buy the products. This is known as a Cost Price Customer.

Important

When selling to the Customer it is your Cost Price plus VAT, as you still need to collect the VAT for your sale

Creating a Cost Price Customer

You follow the normal instructions for creating a customer, once you have all details entered you then change the Price Book to Cost Price

Selling to a Cost Price Customer

Start a Sales Invoice as normal
Select the require customer
Start scanning or selecting the products (the Price been entered will be the Unit Price plus VAT)

Important

In order to sell to the Customer at Cost, the customer must be selected before you start adding products
If your products don't have Cost Prices attached then the products will sell at their normal retail price
If you have multiple quantity pricing, then these will be updated to account for the Unit Price
